With the worldwide decline of forests and rapid species loss, I only source environmentally certified or recovered timbers, as well as sustainable bone or shell. A/G produces it's own naturally based Shellac's to finish our instruments without aerosol propellants. I feel a responsibility to future generations for the health of our planet!

BUILDING ON TRADITION

I've loved the guitar since I was very young. After studying, collecting, building, and restoring many, many instruments and seeing a need to protect our ever dwindling resources. In 2011, I established American Granada. Building my instruments, using greener methods.

That simple concept drives me!

While finished guitars are available here on the American Granada website. Most instruments built by A/G are consignment based, allowing for personal options. This usually takes 3 - 6 months, and a deposit is required. To have a guitar built, go to.
